Bad Horse

I made this shirt in a hurry for a screening of Dr Horrible held last year (I think) as a Can't Stop the Serenity fund raiser for Equality now.

Now, because I threw this together the day before the screening, I didn't have the luxury of getting someone else to do all the hard parts for me. I nagged a friend into giving me some iron on transfer paper, and then proceeded to yell and whine at her all evening because that stuff is an utter pain to use. I've seen some people do wonderful stuff with it, but I just do not have the gift. Also, the transfer doesn't last as long as a print - you can seen on my shirt that some of the black is peeling off. Oh well.

Another thing to think about, fellow shirt-makers, is how the print will sit on a shirt. This tank isn't particularly low cut, but because the design has some height to it, I had to arrange it really close to the neckline, and even then if I tug on the shirt to straighten it out, the design sits very low on my chest.

That said, I really like the design, and I've gotten positive responses ranging from knowing smiles on public transport, to people shouting 'Bad Hoooooorse!' across a room.
